Vehicles that exceed its gross weight than the registered must hold an oversize/overweight permit. There are some limitations for this permit mentioned below,
- No Maximum permit for Non-Divisible loads.

Permits for heavy loads must not go beyond weight limits as follows:
- Tire width - 600 pounds per inch.
- Single axle - 22,000 pounds.
- Tandem axle - 43,000 pounds.
The weight allowed between the axles is determined by this formula:
